Help Clean Waihonu at Lili`uokalani Gardens
& search for buried treasure

While visiting the port of Hilo, sailors from the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Walnut helped remove 150 gallons of mud from Waihonu before lunch. They also spread five tons of gravel and accomplished other maintenance tasks.
Saturday, November 17, from 8 a.m. until noon.
Tools and protective gear provided.
Refreshments and lunch for all volunteers.
[ Land-based chores too for those who don’t want
to go in the pond. 😉 ]
